Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week!!
I am excited to share this pose with you! This is truly one of my most favorite poses. Supported Bridge Pose is the perfect pose for those of you who have been sitting for long periods of time. It is my go to pose to help bring energy into the front body, specifically the hip flexors. I often teach this pose at the end of a yoga class with a block instead of a bolster for just a few minutes, but using a softer support allows us to be in the pose for longer periods of time and is so wonderful.
As well as being a powerful opener for the hip flexors, this pose brings awareness to the abdominal area and supports the digestive organs.
Props: 1 bolster or two pillows and 1 blanket. If you don’t have a bolster, you might consider covering a block with a blanket as a substitute.
These are the same pajamas I wore in this post a couple of weeks ago. I have had them for some time now and they wash really well and are still as cozy as ever.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Be Well,
Nicole
