Yoga For Strong Bones

Yoga for Strong Bones is offered in  a 6 week series. This is to ensure the commitment to your health and healing process. Classes are designed to build on one another throughout the series. Series also provide students the opportunity to connect with the instructor and with other students in the classes. Preregistration is required for all Series.

This series is designed to help those living with osteopenia or osteoporosis improve their posture, balance, range of motion, strength, and most importantly bone density. Based on the Dr. Loren Fishman Method, the yoga poses are alignment-based and weight-bearing to help increase bone density. Each session ends with a couple of restorative poses to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Nicole is certified in the Dr. Loren Fishman Method. Dr. Fishman is considered the foremost expert in the field. Nicole, using his method will emphasize safety and proper alignment.

Osteoporosis consults are available for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia who want to learn the poses proven by Dr. Loren Fishman to build bone density.
