Yoga & Movement for Strong Bones Series 

This on-going 6-week series is designed to help those living with a bone loss diagnosis or those wishing to maintain their bone health improve their posture, balance, range of motion, strength, mobility, and most importantly bone density. Inspired by the Dr. Loren Fishman Method, the yoga poses are alignment-based and weight-bearing to help increase bone density. The use of resistance bands is incorporated into some of the classes as an additional way to build strength and increase bone density.  The practice emphasizes safety and proper alignment. Each session ends with a restorative pose to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.  If you are not sure if the series is right for you,  email: nicole@nbyogaandwellness.com and you can try out the first class of any series for $20 as a trial to see if the class is right for you.

The Yoga & Movement for Strong Bones Video Bundle contains a total of 13 easy to follow videos to help you learn how to safely move your body.  Consistent practice will help improve your posture, balance, range of motion, strength, mobility, and most importantly bone density!

1- Foundational  Practices are individual short lessons to help improve the mobility of your feet, ankles, and wrists, and to improve balance.  These are important for daily functional living and are areas of the body that need more attention as we age.  

2-Just the Poses (4) 15-20 minute practices focusing on basic yoga poses that help to increase bone density. 

3- Practices for Strength (4) 15-20 minute practices that guide you through the poses to help engage and stimulate muscles differently to keep the body from adapting to the repetition of the core poses. 

BONUS (3) pre-recorded 1-hour Zoom classes of the ongoing 6-Week Series.
