Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga classes are designed for students who want all of the benefits of yoga, but at a slower pace. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength, flexibility, and balance. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with great attention to detail and alignment with the use of props if necessary. Perfect for people who want all the benefits of yoga without a strong physical practice.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods anywhere from 45 seconds to five minutes. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body; the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This meditative form of yoga focus not only on opening the body in a gentle way but allows for time to focus on quieting the mind. Class ends with a long savasana and guided meditation. Perfect for people who are looking for a quiet, meditative practice with an emphasis on increasing flexibility.

Mindful Flow
Mindful flow is a very basic yoga flow class. Participants will be guided through both basic seated and standing poses with an emphasis on linking breath with movement in a safe but effective way. Perfect for beginners and experienced yogis who want the benefits of yoga with a slower pace with the support of props if needed.

Flow Yoga
Flow Yoga focuses on linking movement with breath, on building strength in the core, increasing balance, alignment, through a “chatterunga free” vinyasa flow practice.

This class is perfect for people without injuries who want a more challenging practice.

Therapeutic Yoga
Therapeutic Yoga uses a combination of restorative yoga, yin yoga, breathwork, hands-on healing, and guided meditation. The combination of these supportive techniques offers the practitioner a gentle way to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and bring the body into harmony. Therapeutic Yoga is a deeply meditative experience – it provides the opportunity to step away from the busy-ness of the outside world and access the deeper wisdom that resides within us in a gentle but effective way. All poses in this class are either seated or laying down with the support of bolsters, blankets, and other necessary props. This class is perfect for all levels of yoga including those with injury or illness. However, if dealing with an injury or illness please contact NBYW before attending this class.

Flow and Restore
Flow and Restore gives you the opportunity to move the body before relaxing deeply in a restorative practice. The class begins with some flowing movements to open the body, build strength, flexibility, and balance. The practice will conclude with passive and supported poses that lead directly into deep relaxation.

This class is suitable for beginners with little to no yoga experience.
